What We Offer
We offer quality courses in the delivery of First Aid and First Responder Training. We can deliver either at our training facility or if you prefer we can deliver at your venue.

Our courses are accredited by Qualsafe and Ofqual. We have a reputation for being one of the most friendly training facilities in our region. We have our own ambulance service "Lifeline Community Ambulance C.I.C." and offer support to local community members that need assistance getting to hospital appointments.

The QA Level 3 Award in Mental Health First Aid in the
Workplace (RQF) is a regulated and nationally

Upon successful completion of this Emergency First Aid at Work qualification, candidates will be equipped with the essential skills needed to give safe, prompt and effective first aid in emergency situations. What’s more, as a regulated qualification, employers can book this course for their employees and rest assured that they have fulfilled their legal responsibilities for providing quality first aid training, without having to undertake any lengthy due diligence checks introduced in the recent HSE changes.

First Aid at Work
3 Day Course

This 3 day first aid at Work qualification is a competency based course, which will train delegates in both theoretical and practical aspects of First Aid to the standards required by the Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981.
This 3 Day First Aid at Work training course is recommended for all industry sectors were a nominated first aider/s is required in the workplace. On completion of the course the delegates will be able to carry out their duties as the nominated first aider – this level 3 Award (RQF) qualification is valid for 3 years.

Paediatric First Aid Course

Would you know what to do if a child in your care needed first aid?
Having the correct paediatric first aid provision is not only a statutory requirement for the majority of childcare providers, it is extremely important for the safety of children.
The QA Level 3 Award in Paediatric First Aid (QCF) qualification is ideal for those who work or intend to work in a childcare setting as it has been specifically designed to fulfil Ofsted’s first aid requirements for early years teachers, nursery workers and childminders (as defined within the Statutory Framework for the Early Years Foundation Stage 2014 and within the Child Care Register guide).
Successful candidates will learn the roles and responsibilities of the paediatric first aider, and will be equipped with the necessary skills to administer safe and effective treatment when dealing with a range of paediatric first aid situations.

We can deliver Blended learning, Just ask one of our team for more info...
Sometimes it can be difficult to get 2 or 3 days away from the office to undertake the training thats required by the HSE in relation to First Aid training.
We at New-Start are able to offer "Blended Learning", an ability to have part of the course performed online. We just ask for the learner to be present with the trainer on the day of the practical assessments and to sign the register.
